Job summary

Sutter Health’s SMCS-Sutter Med Center - Sacramento is seeking a registered nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care in an acute setting. Responsibilities include direct patient care, patient/family education, and coordination of transitions of care.

Qualifications: graduate of an accredited nursing program, RN license for the state, and BLS certification. Typical shifts include nights with 40 hours weekly and a pay range reflecting hourly compensation.

Qualifications

• RN license evidences completion of a RN program.
• BLS Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess, coordinate, deliver and evaluate nursing care in an acute setting.
• Provide direct patient care and patient/family education.
• Coordinate transitions of care and collaborate with physicians and other providers.
• Maintain HIPAA privacy and adhere to policies and regulations.
