Job summary

MMC-Memorial Medical Center, part of Sutter Health, seeks a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in a high-acuity ER environment. The role focuses on education, care coordination, and transitions of care for diverse patients under time-sensitive conditions.

The ideal candidate holds California RN licensure with ACLS/PALS/BLS/TNCC and has 1 year of acute care experience or completion of the Sutter Health Nursing Residency Program. Full-time, night shifts, 36 weekly hours.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license in California.
• ACLS, PALS, BLS, and TNCC certifications as required by ER.
• 1 year nursing experience or completion of Sutter Health Nursing Residency.

Responsibilities

• Assess, coordinate, deliver and evaluate nursing care in an acute setting.
• Provide direct patient care and patient/family education.
• facilitate transitions of care and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Adhere to policies, standards and regulations to promote optimal patient experience.
