Corewell Health’s Royal Oak Hospital seeks a Nursing Assistant for a 36-hour workweek on a 33-bed surgical/acuity adaptable unit. You will coordinate patient care with a focus on communication, assist with supplies, and support nursing staff in providing safe, compassionate care.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, completion of a nursing assistant program (or 1 year of CNA experience), and BLS certification. The role is full-time day shift in Royal Oak, MI with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of nursing assistant program and/or one year of nursing assistant experience preferred.
• Nursing Assistant certification preferred.
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support required

Responsibilities

• Coordinates patient care by managing communication and clerical tasks essential to unit functioning.
• Monitors and stocks supplies; provides patient care as delegated by a registered nurse.
