Job summary

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Los Angeles (Studio City), CA seeks a Veterinary Technician to join our Surgery Team. You will provide nursing care to stable patients and support post-operative needs in a fast-paced environment.

A minimum of two years in a veterinary hospital is preferred. A rotating on-call schedule is required after training. We offer competitive pay and shift differentials for nights and weekends to reward dedication.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team goal.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to stable patients per hospital standards.
• Place peripheral intravenous catheter in cephalic vein.
• Perform physical exams and monitor vital signs.
• Set up and administer intravenous fluids and subcutaneous fluids.
• Operate and troubleshoot fluid pumps.
