• Surgical veterinary technician experience in a surgical setting.
• Certification as RVT/CVT/LVT/VTS preferred.
• Strong anesthesia monitoring and patient care skills.
• Proficiency with anesthetic calculations, CRIs, fluids, meds.
• Knowledge of surgical instrumentation and sterile technique.]

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and surgical suites for specialty procedures.
• Induce, monitor, and recover patients under anesthesia.
• Collect and prepare diagnostic samples for lab testing.
• Assist surgeons during procedures with sterile technique.
• Support a range of surgical procedures including orthopedic and soft tissue.
• Monitor vital signs during anesthesia and recovery.
• Maintain instruments and sterilize equipment.
• Maintain accurate anesthesia records and documentation.
• Collaborate with veterinarians, techs, and support teams.
• Contribute to a positive hospital culture.
