Weekend coverage is from Friday 8a through Monday 8a.

Coverage Needs Details: 2 weekends per month and sporadic PTO coverage; PTO coverage may require some shifts during the week.

• Active PA State License or Licensure
• DEA Required: Yes
• Board Status: Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Minimum Years Experience: 2

24-hour call from 8a to 8a.

• Typical Day: Hospital rounds on consults, new consults, discharges, and IP procedures in OR or IR labs. Rounding is typically from 8-11AM, but may vary depending on census.
• Coverage: OR & IR hospital coverage, no clinic.
• Trauma Level: II
• APP/Mid-Level Coverage: No
• Solo Practice: Yes
• Other On-site Specialties: Cardiac, Neuro, IR, Trauma, EP, Interventional Cardio, General Cardio, Orthopedics, Foot & Ankle, Plastic Surgery.
• Average Admissions while on call: 1-3
• Average Consults per Day: 4-15
• Average Cases per Day: 2-6
• Procedures: Open and endovascular surgical procedures
• Typical Cases Seen: Typical vascular surgery patients
• Patient Demographics: 95% adult, 5% pediatric
