Thoracic Surgery Opening - Columbus, OH

Seeking an experienced and dedicated BC/BE Thoracic Surgeon to develop and expand a growing program.

Position Details

• Full-time, permanent position
• Potential Medical Director role for the right candidate, with a vision to grow the thoracic surgery volume and lead the General Thoracic Surgery group
• ASAP start date
• Practice setting includes inpatient, outpatient, and clinic environments
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, with weekend call rotation (call 1:4)
• Shift involves a mix of surgical cases and outpatient visits
• Facility's trauma designation: Level II
• Focus on developing a thoracic surgery program to meet growing demand, excluding transplantation
• Procedures include all aspects of general thoracic surgery, benign and malignant
• Supported by DaVinci Xi robotic system, 18 pulmonary/critical care physicians, and a Multi-Disciplinary Tumor Board
• Dedicated APP support
• Large, established referral base within the medical group, ACO, and community partners
• Commitment to quality patient-centered, team-based care
• EMR system: EPIC
