Cardiothoracic Surgery Opportunity in Charleston, South Carolina

We are seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join our hospital team in Charleston, SC. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Qualifications and Experience

• No new graduates; BC only
• Experience in routine heart surgery procedures, thoracic procedures, valve surgeries (including TAVR and mitral valve repair)

Practice Details

Current case volume exceeds 200 hearts per year, with growth in 2022 compared to 2021. The practice collaborates with multiple cardiology groups, including interventionalists, medical cardiologists, and leading EP and CHF specialists in the region.

Case Load and Infrastructure

• 2022 annualized caseload: 200+ CABGs, 60+ surgical valves, 50 TAVRs
• Facilities include 2 CVORs with dedicated CV anesthesia and 3 PAs covering inpatient, outpatient, and surgical duties
