Job summary

About You

We strongly believe that veterinary medicine is a team sport, and our ideal candidate is someone who feels the same. The ideal candidate is already comfortable with anesthesia, handling/restraint, basic surgery prep, and assisting Veterinarians in a clinical setting. Experience with EzyVet and Smartflow are an additional plus but not required. Communication is key in our industry, and we are looking for people who navigate both client and interpersonal communication with skill and ease. Schedule

Full-time position: Monday – Thursday – 8am - 6pm

Compensation

Based on experience ranging from $27.00 - $33.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Experience with common induction agents/anesthetic agents/analgesia agents
• Ability to calculate CRIs and perform other medical math
• Experience with ventilators
• Experience with specialty anesthesia (emergent procedures specifically) is a must
• Can read ECG, capnograph and respond appropriately
• Knowledge on how and when to use a non-rebreather circuit
• Knowledge when to react with BP readings and what to do in each situation
• Skilled in time management with an understanding of the importance of table times
• Punctuality and reliability, with a commitment to maintaining a high standard of care.
• Positive attitude, professionalism, and a compassionate approach to client care.
• Willingness to continue learning and stay updated on veterinary practices.
