SAN-Gorgonio-Memorial-Hospital is seeking a part-time OR technician to support perioperative and gastrointestinal duties. The role requires maintaining sterile fields under RN supervision, ensuring aseptic conditions, and managing related storage and requisitioning of supplies.

Candidates should have an OR technician program, eligibility for NBSTSA certification, and a minimum 1 year of surgical tech experience with an orthopedic focus. BLS is required upon hire.

Part Time , Varied Shifts , 0700-1530; Pay Range=$29 to $35 per hour, DOE.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for proving technical services, creating a sterile field and maintaining an aseptic environment under the direction of a Registered Nurse in compliance with thestandards of the department. Is knowledgeable in population specific requirements of care.

Performs perioperative/gastrointestinal related duties as required. Maintains the proper care storage, and requisitioning of supplies and equipment for patient care.

REQUIREMENTS:

This Full Time position will consist of day shifts with call. MUST LIVE WITHIN 30 MINUTES of the facility, due to call schedule.

• High School diploma or equivalent. Associate's Degree preferred. Graduate of approved O.R. technician program required. Prefer Certification by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting. BLS Certification is required upon hire. Must have at least 1 year of experience as a surgical technician in an accredited hospital with an emphasis on Ortho. Ability and willingness to work as a Surg Tech as well as in SPD.
