We are looking for:
Specialty Veterinary Clinical Manager
Reporting directly to the Hospital Director, the Clinical Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining an engaged team to deliver exceptional service to our patients, clients, and referral partners. The role involves working with the Hospital Director and Medical Director to foster a culture of collaboration, career development, and inclusivity. The Clinical Manager plays a key role in promoting Healthy Growth through delivering optimal Employee and MedVet Experiences.
What you’ll do:
- Ensure the healthcare team has the necessary resources and tools to deliver the MedVet Experience.
- Coach team members on process improvement to ensure efficient and sustainable operations.
- Collaborate with other departments.
- Develop, monitor, and adjust schedules to maximize efficiency.
- Recommend purchases of supplies and equipment in collaboration with department representatives.
- Manage financial decisions and departmental health.
- Lead change and influence behavior in a growing organization, fostering a service-oriented culture.
- Provide comprehensive onboarding and ongoing performance feedback.
- Negotiate and mediate conflicts with HR support.
- Address client and referral concerns collaboratively.
- Provide annual performance feedback and development plans for team members.
- Attract and retain talented staff by offering enriching experiences, career growth, and professional development.
- Balance clinical and administrative duties, with at least 50% of time on administrative tasks (dependent on hospital size and staffing).
Who you are:
- Minimum three years of management or leadership experience; healthcare or veterinary experience preferred.
- Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Prioritization skills to meet deadlines.
- Professional demeanor and ability to work with all organizational levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
- Availability to work at least 40 hours in the hospital, including after-hours and weekends as needed.
