Texas Health Resources is seeking a Surgery Scheduling Specialist for Texas Health Digestive Specialists in Fort Worth, TX. The role focuses on coordinating surgical schedules, pre-certification, and patient communications to ensure smooth procedures.

The position emphasizes teamwork in a fast-paced clinic with no weekends and offers growth opportunities within the Texas Health system.

Formación

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of related experience in healthcare preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinates, registers and schedules appointments for patients according to availability.
• Conducts patient pre-certification to ensure coverage for appointments and medical care.
• Ensures all required tests needed prior to surgery are done.
• Coordinates and ensures necessary equipment is ordered, room availability/scheduled, pre-surgery medication, etc is arranged prior to scheduled procedure.
• Schedules any necessary follow-up appointments.
• Communicates and answers patients' questions regarding surgery preparation instructions, arrival / departure instructions relative to procedure.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Surgery Scheduling Specialist Fast-paced, high-volume clinic looking for a top skilled Surgery Scheduling Specialist

Work location: Texas Health Digestive Specialists #19359, 1325 Pennsylvania Ave, Fort Worth TX 76104

Work hours: Full Time, 40 hours weekly; Monday - Thursday (8:00 am-5:00 pm) and Fridays from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm

Here’s What You Need:

Education H.S. Diploma or Equivalent REQUIRED

Experience 2 Years Related experience in healthcare environment HIGHLY PREFERRED

Skills Requires strong customer skills. Good communication skills. Possess a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism. A team player who handles multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment.
