Surgery Scheduler
40 Hours Weekly, Full Time, Days
Responsibilities
Responsible for scheduling surgical procedures for surgeons using critical thinking skills when choosing procedure codes, appropriate operating service and room, working with vendors to obtain the necessary implants, coordinating with additional surgeons and ancillary staff for complex procedures. Must maintain effective communication with the physician offices, Surgery staff, vendors, and ancillary departments within the hospital.
Requirements:
Three to five years experience in medical field.
Previous office/clerical experience.
Medical Terminology strongly preferred.
