Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of experience in surgery scheduling.
• Strong communication and organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate scheduling of all surgeries to optimize operating room use.
• Maintain a paper 7-day schedule to safeguard against downtime.
• Notify parties when changes occur and print/distribute schedules daily.
• Communicate with physicians and staff to ensure proper documentation.
• Produce daily reports on department efficiency and QA statistics.
