Job summary

Archbold Medical Center in Georgia is seeking a scheduling coordinator for the surgical services department. The role involves coordinating physicians' surgery schedules, explaining procedures to patients, answering questions about tests, and obtaining necessary signatures.

The incumbent will schedule pre-op appointments, arrange pre-admission, secure prep prescriptions, and ensure all orders and consents are in the patient’s chart while maintaining open communication with the OR.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Medical Terminology and Secretarial courses preferred.
• Must have 2 years of experience in an office or hospital setting where scheduling, secretarial duties are utilized.

Experience/Qualifications:

Must have 2 years of experience in an office or hospital setting where scheduling, secretarial duties are utilized
