Job summary

Methodist Medical Group in North Texas seeks a Scheduler to coordinate patient procedures according to physician orders, collect demographics and insurance information, and ensure procedures and their preparation do not conflict.

The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma, some college coursework, and preferred experience; bilingual skills and Microsoft Office proficiency are valuable. This position offers a path for growth within a supportive health system.

Qualifications

1 year of experience is preferred.
Medical terminology experience preferred.

Your Job:

The primary purpose of the Scheduler position is to schedule all patient procedures following physician’s orders, to collect accurate clinical demographics, basic insurance information and to coordinate the flow of services, to ensure that procedures and their preparation do not conflict with one another.

Your Job Requirements:

High School Graduate or equivalent required
Some College preferred
1 year of experience is preferred
Medical Terminology experience preferred
Bilingual skills preferred
1 year computer experience preferred with systems in Microsoft Office
Ability to communicate effectively, orally, and in writing with various levels of staff
