Regional One Health in Memphis is seeking a Surgery Scheduler to enter all surgical procedures into the medical software and to coordinate equipment, staffing, and ancillary needs with the Director of Nursing.
The role supports cross-training in Admitting and other office functions, ensures accurate patient information and chart preparation, and communicates issues promptly to the Nursing and Business Office teams.
The Surgery Scheduler is responsible for entering all surgical procedures into the medical software program, communicating equipment, staffing and ancillary needs to the Director of Nursing, screening non-approved procedures or procedures not indicated on a surgeon's delineation of privileges list. The Scheduler will be cross-trained in other functions of the business office and reports directly to the Business Office Manager.
