Podiatric Surgeon - Baltimore, MD

Shifts

Job Summary:

The Podiatric Surgeon will be responsible for performing surgeries, treating various foot and ankle conditions, conducting biomechanical assessments, prescribing orthotics, and managing diabetes-related foot issues.

Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and treat conditions affecting the foot, ankle, and lower extremities.
  • Perform surgical procedures to correct deformities or injuries.
  • Prescribe medications, orthotics, and physical therapy as needed.
  • Interpret diagnostic tests such as X-rays, MRIs, and lab results.
  • Develop post-operative care plans and monitor recovery.
  • Educate patients on foot health, hygiene, and preventive care.
Qualifications/Experience:
  • Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree and completion of a Podiatric Surgical Residency program.
  • Experience in Biomechanics and Orthotics.
  • Knowledge of Diabetes and its impact on foot health.
Licensures/Certifications:
  • Board certification in Podiatric Surgery.
  • Valid State License.
