Job summary

CommonSpirit Health's Chandler Regional Medical Center in Chandler, AZ is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver compassionate, high-quality patient care across acute settings while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

You will perform assessments, administer medications, implement care plans, and advocate for patients, with a focus on safety, evidence-based practice, and timely escalation using SBAR to physicians.

Qualifications

• ADN or foreign equivalent required at hire
• RN license in AZ required at hire
• BLS/CPR required at hire
• ACLS within 6 months of hire
• BSN preferred
• One year surgery experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, safe, and effective nursing care to achieve desired health outcomes for the patient.
• Organize and prioritize patient care activities balancing patient needs and comfort.
• Demonstrate accountability for ethical behavior and escalate issues as needed.
• Advocate for patients by applying holistic care practices.
• Recognize and adapt to changes in patient condition (labs, vitals, tests) promptly.
• Use SBAR to notify physicians and perform bedside nurse-to-nurse reports.
