Department of Neurosurgery
The University of Missouri Department of Neurosurgery is currently recruiting a neurosurgeon specializing in Functional Neurosurgery. Appointment rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience. Successful candidates will focus on deep brain stimulation for patients with movement disorders, as well as those with epilepsy and facial pain. This position will also provide general neurosurgery coverage.
Faculty will participate in general and pediatric neurosurgery on-call coverage; contribute to resident selection and evaluation; participate in resident and medical education through supervision in the clinical setting and operating room, as well as through academic curriculum development; and engage in clinically relevant research and scholarship.
Minimum Qualifications:
Board-certified/Board-eligible in Neurosurgery
License to practice medicine in Missouri before the date of hire
