Exciting Opportunity for a Board-Certified/Eligible Neurosurgeon in Pueblo, Colorado

The Neurosurgery group in Pueblo, Colorado is looking for a dedicated Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Neurosurgeon to join their team. Our facility is committed to providing exceptional patient care in a collaborative environment, with a focus on innovative practices and a community-centered approach.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive neurosurgical care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Consult and treat an average of 8 to 12 patients per day in the clinic, supported by 3-4 Physician Assistants.
• Perform scheduled surgeries, including elective spine procedures, in a high-demand practice.
• Participate in a flexible schedule of 2 days in the clinic, 2 days in the operating room, and 1 flexible day.
• Manage ER call of 7 days per month, with minimal in-person requirements and imaging reviews conducted from home.
• Contribute to the development of a strong elective spine practice in an underserved community.
• Collaborate with an established team of one Neurosurgeon and four experienced Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
• Utilize advanced neuro-navigation tools and EPIC for documentation.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or TRULY Board Eligible in Neurosurgery.
• Ability to obtain a Colorado medical license (if not already licensed).
• Strong focus on patient care and teamwork.
• Commitment to improving lives through innovative approaches.
• Ability to handle high patient volume while maintaining quality of care.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Clean malpractice record.
• Board certification in Neurosurgery or proof of eligibility.
• Colorado medical license (or willingness to obtain).
