- Schedule: 24-hour call; 7a-7a
- Weekend & On Call Requirements
- Specific Date: June 13 (7a) - June 23(7a)
- Additional dates TBD; approximately 5-7 days/month ongoing
- MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR LISTED JUNES DATES; NO EXCEPTIONS
Clinical Details:
- Practice Setting: Hospital-based General Surgery and Level 3 Trauma Center Coverage at a Community Hospital
- May receive referrals or questions from APP that is working in the Office Practice regarding patients
- Primary Responsibilities: Hospital General Surgery and Level 3 Trauma call coverage, general surgery consult coverage at the hospital
- Call Ratio: 15-20 / 24 hours
- Average Number of Surgical Cases Per Day: 10
- Annual ER Volume: 27,000
- EMR: Epic
- Number of Operating Rooms: 10
- Number of General Surgeons in Practice: 1
- OR Staff: Experienced, well-trained in Robotic Surgical Procedures and all General Surgery Procedures
- Patient Age Demographic: Primarily adults age 18 and over
- Procedures Required: General Surgical Cases (Adult and Trauma), Central Line Insertion, PA Catheter Placement, Chest Tube Insertion, Vascular Access Devices, Cholecystectomy, Hernioplasty
- Additional Procedures Preferred: Appendectomies, bowel resections, trauma care for perforations or lacerations of internal organs
