Seeking General Surgeon in Rural Community

Located in Kane, PA, the hospital has an opening for a General Surgeon to join one of our hospital-based practices. The practice receives referrals from a health network that includes clinics in seven communities: Bradford, Johnsonburg, Kane, Mt. Jewett, Ridgway, Sheffield, and Warren. This practice is based in Kane, with surgeries performed at the hospital, which has 31 acute care beds. Please note, this job opportunity does not offer immigration sponsorship.

The OR handles over 100 procedures a month, with no OB. Cases include bread-and-butter surgeries such as laparoscopies, laparoscopic cholecystectomies, hernia repairs, endoscopies, colonoscopies, enterectomies, and more. The practice emphasizes consistent high-quality care and efficiency in a friendly atmosphere.

The hospital has an active medical staff offering a broad range of primary and specialty care services, including cardiology, community wellness, emergency medicine, family medicine, gynecology, home health care, internal medicine, occupational medicine, urology, oncology/outpatient chemotherapy, ophthalmology, orthopedics, pain medicine, pathology, podiatric medicine, radiology, rehabilitation services, and surgery.
