General Surgeon opening - Detroit Lakes, MN

Located 45 miles to Fargo

Position Details

• Part-Time position
• BC/BE General Surgeon to join a practice with a full spectrum of services, including family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, geriatrics, orthopedics, behavioral health, obstetrics/gynecology, podiatry, and dermatology.
• Referral base draws from 5 clinics and a population of 40,000 plus.
• Practice includes general, colorectal, laparoscopic, wound care, endoscopy, and colonoscopy; has growth potential for new or specialized services.
• Trauma Level III hospital
• Practice includes 2 General Surgeons
• Flexibility to work 0.8 - 1.0 FTE
• On-call: 1:2 weekdays, 1:4 weekends/holidays
• Weekly schedule includes clinic, surgery, endoscopy, and daytime outreach, possibly including Perham and Fosston, MN
• Compensation based on experience, with incentives, 6+ weeks of vacation, malpractice coverage, CME allowance, and relocation package.
