Job summary

Seattle Children’s is seeking an experienced administrative professional to provide a wide range of complex tasks, supporting executives with confidential information, data reporting, scheduling, and travel coordination.

You will create and proofread documents, manage filing systems, and assist with budget preparation and financial reconciliations. A high degree of discretion and adaptability across departments is essential.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum five years of related admin work supporting executives or high-level management.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree, healthcare/medical office experience, project management assistance.

Responsibilities

  • Organize, prioritize and coordinate a high volume of work including confidential information.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to customers and visitors.
  • Create, type, edit and proofread department documents.
  • Schedule meetings and arrange travel.
  • Enter, extract and analyze data into reports and presentations.
  • Coordinate and monitor budget preparation; audit or reconcile financial statements and invoices.
  • Manage workload to complete projects; duties vary by department.

Job description

Provide a wide range of highly complex administrative tasks. Responsibilities include the organization, prioritization and coordination of a high volume of work including confidential information. Duties include exceptional customer service to customers and visitors; creating, typing, editing, and proofreading various department documents; creating and maintaining filing systems; scheduling meetings and arranging travel; entering, extracting, and analyzing data into reports and presentations; coordinating and monitoring budget preparation; auditing or reconciling financial statements and invoices; and managing workload required to complete projects. Duties will vary by department.

Required Education And Experience

High school diploma or equivalent experience. Minimum five (5) years of related administrative work supporting high level management or executives in the areas of customer service and/or office management.

Preferred

Bachelor’s degree. Healthcare/medical office experience. Project management assistance experience.

Compensation Range

$32.07 - $48.11 per hour

Salary Information

This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
