A leading healthcare institution in Upstate New York is seeking an experienced Board Certified Cardiac Surgeon to join their expanding cardiac surgery program. The program is the only one in the area, performing around 400 surgeries annually. Candidates will focus on a variety of cardiac surgeries and have the opportunity to work with advanced robotic technology. Job description

We are hiring an experienced Board Certified Cardiac Surgeon to be an instrumental part of our hospital cardiac surgery program!

Location: Upstate New York

Our program is budgeted for 4 cardiac surgeons and is the only surgery program in the area. Last year, we performed approximately 400 cardiac surgery cases.

We are open to considering J1 Visa Waiver candidates.

Our team includes 3 mid-level providers with about 2 years of experience, and we are looking to expand the program further.

The focus is on all cardiac surgeries except LVADs, although we plan to incorporate LVAD procedures in the future as we already follow post-LVAD patients. Additionally, we perform thoracic surgeries, utilizing a robot that one of our surgeons uses for thoracic cases. We do not perform vascular surgery, as we have dedicated vascular surgeons on staff.
