Description:
- Seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Cardiologist who specializes in non-invasive cardiology (with an interest in heart failure and/or advanced cardiology as a preference but not a prerequisite).
- Interested candidates will join a large collegial group at a tertiary care center which has no overnight call responsibilities, great APP support, and a clinical pod structure that allows physicians to work in a collaborative environment.
- Part or full-time engagement available based on individual needs.
- Ramped-up yearly time-off starting at 40 days of PTO in year 3.
- No overnight call.
- Pod-based clinic structure with a dedicated support team for all clinical workflows (e.g., inbox management, surgical clearances, Peer-to-Peer, refill management, medical records, etc.).
- EPIC-based system for both inpatient and outpatient documentation.
- Call participation adjusted based on employment duration (e.g., half of the call obligations for 0.5 FTE vs. 1.0 FTE).
- Flexible clinic schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- Average outpatient volume: 11 - 22 patients per day, depending on the clinic schedule.
- Weekend/Holiday Call: 1:5.
- Short call: once per month, 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
- Integration of APPs into the call structure is underway, leading to fewer physician-based call responsibilities.
- Tailor-made approach for inpatient vs. outpatient responsibilities.
- State-of-the-art labs: Phillips systems with Flex vision screens, updated software including Clarity, and nine data out ports for TEE/CCTA images.
- Advanced cardiac imaging: CT (including CT-FFR), MRI (stress and 4D flow), and vascular imaging.
- Access to a cutting-edge structural heart program.
- Minimal travel to outreach locations.
- Robust clinical research program with over 50 active clinical trials, including investigator-initiated studies.
