SMCS-Sutter Med Center - Sacramento
This role supports the overall operation of the surgery department, including procedure room preparation, patient transportation, and maintaining cleanliness of the facilities. Responsibilities include overseeing inventory, ensuring facilities are well-stocked, and ordering supplies as needed. The role also involves maintaining and ensuring the availability of equipment used in procedures in the Operating Room daily. Adherence to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures is essential to ensure privacy and safety, thereby delivering optimal patient care. The position may also require performing specific procedures and orienting other staff to the department.
