North Pittsburgh Oral Surgery Assoc. LTD is seeking a Surgical Assistant to support our clinical team across four western Pennsylvania offices—North Hills, Cranberry Twp, Natrona Heights, and New Castle.

The role requires travel between offices and will follow a day shift, Monday through Friday, with no weekend work. The position involves assisting surgeons, preparing rooms, maintaining sterile fields, and aiding with patient care and documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Surgical Assistant or Surgical Technologist preferred.
• Familiarity with DSN or other electronic medical record systems.
• Knowledge of surgical instruments, equipment, and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• X-Ray Certification
• CPR Certification

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons during oral surgical procedures in a clinic.
• Prepare operating rooms with necessary equipment and supplies.
• Set up sterile fields and ensure adherence to aseptic techniques.
• Hand instruments and supplies to surgeons during procedures.
• Maintain accurate medical records using DSN and other electronic systems.
• Clean and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment.
• Assist with patient positioning and prepping for surgery.
• Monitor patients' vital signs during procedures.
• Provide post-operative care and instructions to patients.

We currently have an opportunity on our Clinical Team for a Surgical Assistant. The opening can be in any of our four offices: North Hills, Cranberry Twp, Natrona Heights or New Castle and does require travel between offices.
