Assists the surgical team utilizing knowledge of sterile technique to hold retractors and cameras as directed by the surgeon. Performs environmental activities to maintain a clean and orderly surgical suite. Identifies correct patient to verify specific information utilizing strong interpersonal skills and abilities. Ensures supplies are stocked and sterile. Assists with maintaining a sterile environment.Decision Making: Independent judgment in making minor decisions where alternatives are limited and standard policies/protocols have been established.Working Relationships: Works directly with patients and/or customers.
