Baptist Health System is seeking a Surgery Aide to support perioperative patient care in a hospital setting. The role assists the surgical team across the age spectrum, following established practices and standards, with responsibilities including direct and indirect patient support and adherence to policy.

Preferred candidates will have a High School diploma or equivalent, hospital experience as a surgical attendant or nursing assistant, and active healthcare provider BLS certification on hire

Qualifications

• Must have active healthcare provider BLS on hire (ARC or AHA); however, must have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• The Surgery Aide indirectly provides patient care to perioperative patients along the continuum of the age spectrum following established practices and standards.
• Other related duties as assigned.
