The Michael E. DeBakey Department of Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine is seeking an exceptional candidate for a full-time faculty position as a surgeon in the Division of Trauma and Acute Care Surgery. The position is at an academic rank (Assistant or Associate) commensurate with experience. The successful candidate will join a busy team of Acute Care Surgeons providing services at our affiliate hospitals.
Requirements include Surgical Critical Care fellowship training. The preferred candidate will have a demonstrated clinical interest in innovative treatment of complex hernia and abdominal wall repair.
Faculty at the Michael E. DeBakey Department of Surgery are committed to excellence in surgical care, education, and research. Located in the Texas Medical Center, the department includes 150 members practicing at institutions such as BSLMC, Texas Children's Hospital, Ben Taub General Hospital, and MEDVAMC.
