Background

We maintain a global surge roster of technical experts in information management, supporting emergency and development programs worldwide.

Important Notice

The position is open until May 28th, 2025, but interviews may be conducted on a rolling basis and the process may close earlier. Ideally, the candidate will start by June 1st, 2025.

Project Background

This project, in collaboration with NORCAP and ECHO, aims to enhance the capacity of humanitarian actors to respond swiftly and effectively to crises by establishing a collaborative surge personnel system.

Role and Responsibilities

The Surge Project Manager will oversee the DG ECHO funded project, coordinate with partners, and represent iMMAP Inc. in various forums. Responsibilities include managing deployment operations, developing SOPs, reporting, and resource management.

Requirements
  • Master’s degree in relevant fields or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with international humanitarian/development organizations
  • Strong project management, coordination, and leadership skills
  • Experience working in multicultural environments and remotely
  • Fluency in English
