Job summary

KBR's Marine Corps Prepositioning Program in Jacksonville, FL seeks a Surge Support Material Handler responsible for requisitioning, stocking calculations, issue, disposal, and tracking of equipment, supplies, and publications using automated systems. Train lower-level staff and perform related duties as assigned.

Candidate must lift 50 pounds, operate MHE, have a valid driver's license, be a US citizen, and travel up to 70%.

Qualifications

• 4 years related experience in warehousing or logistics.
• Capability to read and apply technical data in care/storage programs.
• Ability to assess storage space requirements including material weight and volume.
• Lifts up to 50 pounds and operates MHE equipment.
• Must possess a valid State Driver's License and CAC/Base Access eligibility.
• Willingness to travel up to 70% and deploy within 72 hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform requisitioning, stockage computation, replenishment, and tracking of equipment and publications.
• Maintain custodial records and manage issue, disposal, and redistribution.
• Utilize automated systems (hardware/software) for tasks.
• Provide training and guidance to lower level employees.
• Perform other tasks as reasonably assigned.
