Job summary

Jackson HealthPros seeks a Certified CVOR Surgical Technologist to join a cardiac team, assisting physicians and nurses in the operating room. You will prepare the OR, sterilize instruments, and support the surgical team to ensure patient safety during procedures.

The role requires NBSTSA certification, BLS, a WA CVOR license, and a COVID-19 vaccination, with a typical 7:15 AM–3:00 PM schedule and weekdays shift pattern. Weekend and holiday call may be required.

Qualifications

• Current NBSTSA-certified CVOR Surgical Technologist
• BLS Certification
• 2 years’ experience as a CVOR tech in a cardiac surgical environment
• Washington state license for CVOR Tech
• COVID vaccine required

• Assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
• BLS Certification
• 2 years‘ experience as a certified CVOR technologist in a cardiac surgical environment
• Washington state license for CVOR Tech
• COVID vaccine required

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 7:15 AM - 3:00 PM
• Shift days: Monday through Friday
• Weekend requirement is covered by call time
• Holiday call may be required
• Call requirement for techs includes 8-9 call days per month
• Call hours begin at 9:00 PM and end at 6:30 AM
