Versant Health, Inc. is seeking a Surfacing Lab Technician II for a Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Friday shift from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm in Newtown Square, PA.

The role involves fine, polish and coating applications for lens blocks and associated assembly steps in a regulated lab environment. Responsibilities include operating fining/polishing equipment, validating processes, loading blocks, inspecting lens quality, and maintaining logs per procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of related manufacturing experience preferred.
• Must be able to read English to understand written procedures, hazardous warning, etc.

Responsabilités

• Power up equipment and perform equipment validation processes.
• Operate multiple fining and polishing machines simultaneously.
• Fine lens for predetermined times according to lens material.
• Verify polish temperature and load blocks in blocking stations.
• De-block lenses and return laps on the conveyor.
• Release alloy onto lens and monitor processing; place lenses in trays.
• Load two lenses for automatic cleaning and coating processes.
• Remove lenses and inspect for imperfections; place in tray for processing.
• Monitor auto-blocker and troubleshoot machine errors.
• Rotate among other functions within the department.
• Comply with QMS, safety, and hazardous material handling procedures.
