AMERICAN SYSTEMS is seeking a SPIR Coordinator in Norfolk, VA with a Secret clearance and 2+ years in Navy Logistics Information Systems. The role supports HM&E testing and SPIR coordination for surface ships undergoing maintenance.

Responsibilities include inputting SPIR reports, monitoring tracking tools, and delivering weekly SPIR updates to the customer, collaborating with SURFMEPP and NAVSEA teams to sustain program value.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of SPIR OR JIRA, R-Supply, One Touch, NALCOMMIS or OMMS-NG coordination for surface ships.
• 2 years of experience using tracking spreadsheets and databases.
• Specialize in Quality Assurance and process improvement.
• Active Secret security clearance.

Responsabilités

• Provide administrative support to NSWC-PD Department 20 Machinery Programs and Platforms.
• Coordinate SPIR for surface ships during maintenance availabilities.
• Input handwritten SPIR reports into the NSWC-PD SPIR Tracking Tool.
• Monitor the SPIR Tracking Tool Database.
• Provide weekly SPIR reports to the customer.
• Utilize SPIR tracking sheets and databases to support SURFMEPP value stream with key offices.
