Job summary

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is seeking a Waterfront SPIR Coordinator to support Navy Surface Ship modernization efforts in Pearl Harbor, HI. The role requires 2+ years of Navy Logistics Information Systems experience and an active Secret clearance.

You will provide administrative support, coordinate SPIRs for ships during maintenance availabilities, input SPIR reports into the SPIR Tracking Tool, monitor the database, and produce weekly reports in collaboration with NSWC-PD, TYCOMM, SURFMEPP, and NAVSEA.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years coordinating SPIR or using JIRA/R-Supply/One Touch/NALCOMMIS/OMMS-NG for surface ships.
• 2+ years of tracking spreadsheets and databases.
• Specialize in Quality Assurance.
• Active Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide Administrative support to NSWC-PD Dept 20 Machinery Programs and Platforms.
• Coordinate SPIRs for surface ships during maintenance availabilities.
• Input handwritten SPIR reports into NSWC-PD SPIR Tracking Tool.
• Continuously monitor the SPIR Tracking Tool Database.
• Provide weekly SPIR reports to the customer.
• Collaborate with Regional Maintenance Center, TYCOMM, SURFMEPP, and NAVSEA.
