Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance and quality assurance focus.

• Specialize in SPIR Coordination support for surface ships undergoing maintenance availabilities.
• Input handwritten SPIR reports into NSWC-PD SPIR Tracking Tool.
• Continuously monitor the SPIR Tracking Tool Database.
• Provide weekly SPIR reports to the customer.
• Utilize SPIR Tracking Sheets and Databases to meet SURFMEPP value stream with RMC Modernization Coordination Office, TYCOMM, SURFMEPP/NAVSEA.

Responsibilities

• Provide Administrative support services to NSWC-PD Department 20 Machinery Programs and Platforms.
• Specialize in System/Software Problem/Improvement Report (SPIR) Coordination support for Surface Ships undergoing maintenance availabilities.
• Accurately Input handwritten SPIR reports into the approved NSWC-PD SPIR Tracking Tool.
• Continuously monitor the SPIR Tracking Tool Database.
• Provide weekly SPIR reports to the customer.
• Utilization of SPIR Tracking Sheets and Databases to meet SURFMEPP product value stream by working closely with:
  • Regional Maintenance Center (RMC) Modernization Coordination Office
  • TYCOMM
  • SURFMEPP Community / NAVSEA

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 2 years of experience providing System/Software Problem/Improvement Report (SPIR) OR JIRA, R-Supply, One Touch, NALCOMMIS or OMMS-NG coordination for surface ships undergoing maintenance availabilities.
• 2 years of experience in the utilization of tracking spreadsheets and databases.
• Specialize in Quality Assurance
• Active Secret security clearance.
