Ohio County Coal Resources, Inc. is seeking an experienced Surface Prep Plant Electrician for our Benwood, West Virginia operations.

The role focuses on installing, maintaining and repairing electrical equipment used in coal mining processes, in compliance with codes and safety standards. The position offers hourly pay and requires hands-on troubleshooting of electrical systems, with emphasis on reading blueprints and adhering to safety practices.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of electrical experience.
• Understanding of fiber optics and networking.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and hydraulic/mechanical prints.
• Commitment to safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment for coal mining processes.
• Troubleshoot mining equipment, hydraulics, conveyors, and diesel units.
• Read maintenance manuals and interpret parts lists; obtain correct parts.
• Read blueprints/schematics and install/repair electrical systems.
• Ensure safe operation; perform weekly inspections and document records.
