Job summary

Arcosa Wind Towers is seeking a Surface Prep Operator/Blasters in Tulsa, OK to prepare interior and exterior surfaces for coating operations. You will operate automated blast systems and handheld grit blast equipment to remove scale, corrosion, paint, and dirt.

Location is Tulsa, OK 74116. This is a full-time hourly role with multiple shifts and overtime based on business needs. Safety-sensitive position with a strong emphasis on teamwork and safety practices.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools or ability to learn within 6 months.
• Knowledge of handheld grit blast system or ability to learn within 6 months.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to work as a team, demonstrate high ethical standards, treat all coworkers with dignity and respect and support a positive working culture.

Responsibilities

• Purge surfaces of all chemicals and contaminates through simple processes
• Remove scale, corrosion, paint, and dirt
• Follow all safety rules and practices
• Proficiently operate automated blast system
• Proficiently operate handheld grit blast system
• May be involved in committees or initiatives
• Perform other duties as assigned
