Job summary

Star Engineering Inc is seeking a full-time, on-site Surface Mount Operator based in North Attleboro, MA. The role entails operating and monitoring SMT equipment to assemble printed circuit boards in accordance with work instructions, production schedules and strict quality standards.

Role Description: The Surface Mount Operator is a full-time, on-site role based in North Attleboro, MA. This role is responsible for operating and monitoring surface mount technology (SMT) equipment to assemble printed circuit boards according to work instructions, production schedules, and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with SMT production processes. Experience including setup, operation, and basic maintenance of SMT equipment and reflow ovens a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), work instructions, and electronic component markings.
• Basic understanding of electronics manufacturing, including handling ESD-sensitive components and following quality standards.
• Previous experience in PCB assembly, electronics manufacturing, or related production roles is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training in electronics or manufacturing is an asset.
