Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a surface mine operation or related field.
• Mining Foreman's certification or ability to obtain it.
• Blasting training and/or certified blaster.

Responsibilities

• Supervising quarry/mine employees and plant operations.
• Plan the daily operation scheduling of plant production.
• Conduct pre-shift meetings and safety talks.

Skills

Strong communication and decision-making ability

Ability to read and interpret documents

Significant heavy equipment maintenance experience

Education

Bachelor's degree in mining or civil engineering
