Job summary

Martin Marietta is seeking a Surface Haul Truck Driver for our Lathrop Quarry in Lathrop, MO. This full-time role requires safe operation of heavy equipment to move material within the plant, with pay between $23 and $26 per hour. Hours are 6am-6pm, Monday through Friday, with 40+ hours per week.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license. Heavy equipment experience or military background is preferred, along with knowledge of MSHA regulations

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• 1+ years related experience.
• Knowledge of MSHA regulations.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Excellent verbal communication.
• Knowledge of machines and tools.

Responsibilities

• Participate in safety programs and training.
• Inspect equipment for signs of wear.
• Perform basic maintenance on heavy mobile equipment.
• Work in a team environment.
• Load and unload materials safely.
• Maneuver trucks into loading positions.
• Wear required PPE at all times.
• Notify supervisors of repairs needed.
• Ensure materials are loaded according to safety rules.
• Assist in plant maintenance and operations.
• Perform duties with minimal supervision.
