Job summary

DSRT SURF in Palm Desert, California, is looking for a safety-minded lifeguard to join a fast-growing hospitality and surf lifestyle brand. This on-site role focuses on guest safety, surf operations, and creating an energetic, welcoming environment around the water.

No surf experience required—training and certification support are provided. The position is part-time with potential to move to full-time, requires flexibility for mornings, evenings, weekends, and peak periods, and offers

Qualifications

• Strong swimming skills and physical fitness.
• Calm, alert, and professional in fast-paced environments.
• Experience in hospitality or guest service preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain active surveillance of guests in and around the surf lagoon and areas.
• Enforce safety rules and guest conduct standards.
• Respond quickly to emergencies and rescue situations.
• Support surf session operations and guest flow.
• Assist guests with questions and directions.
• Participate in ongoing training and safety drills.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, organized environment.
• Support additional operational needs as assigned.
