Job summary

Liberty Mutual Surety invites applications for an 11-week Surety Underwriting Internship designed for students pursuing Finance, Economics, or Business degrees. You will work with experienced underwriters on financial analysis, risk assessment, and relationship management to support bond opportunities.

During the program you will gain hands-on exposure to underwriting decisions and the AF SB curriculum, with structured training and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Business with at least one semester remaining after Summer 2027.
• GPA minimum 3.0.
• 0–2 years of professional experience.
• Strong analytical, decision-making, and negotiating skills.
• Solid interpersonal skills and passion for customer service.
• Available to work full-time for 11 weeks.
• Must have permanent US work authorization.
