Position Compensation Range (for certain geographic locations):

$141,000 to $239,000 Yearly.

Position Compensation Range:

$128,000 - $216,000

Pay Rate Type: Salary

Compensation may vary based on job level and geographic location. Relocation support offered for eligible candidates.

Primary Accountabilities

• Responsible for profitability of contract and commercial surety bonds.
• Underwrites individual accounts and manages high-quality surety portfolios.
• Provides technical support to the field organization.
• Contributes to bond product and systems development.
• Participates in the audit process to maintain underwriting discipline.
• Contributes to the effectiveness of the bonds organization to drive profitable growth and maintain a healthy loss ratio.

Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements

• Experience in providing customer-driven solutions or service.
• Progressive experience in surety underwriting and risk selection.
• Experience in credit analysis.
• Knowledge of processing methods, workflow procedures, insurance underwriting, and regulations.
• Understanding of lines of business and legal/regulatory guidelines.
• Skills in relationship building, active listening, needs analysis, and negotiation.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
