Job summary

MultiCare Cancer Institute, part of MultiCare Health System in Washington, seeks a Supervisor-Pharmacy Practice to oversee pharmacy activities within their area and support pharmaceutical care across the health system.

The role reports to the Director/Manager of Pharmacy and requires a Washington State pharmacist license, with two years of pharmacy experience and leadership skills. A PharmD or advanced degree is preferred.

Position Summary

The Supervisor-Pharmacy Practice is a working supervisor position and, in addition to duties as a pharmacist, will be responsible for the oversight of pharmacy activities in their area of responsibility. This working supervisor reports to the Director/Manager of Pharmacy. The Supervisor- Pharmacy Practice will have direct responsibility for the pharmacist and or technical staff and will work closely with pharmacy managers and other supervisors to support, promote, and integrate pharmaceutical care practices across the health system.

Requirements

• Current Washington State pharmacist license
• Successful completion of an accredited ASHP pharmacy residency program preferred
• Two years of relevant experience as a pharmacist required
• Previous experience and demonstrated skills in a leadership role preferred
• Bachelor's degree required or additional education if required for licensure
• Advanced degree preferred - (PharmD or Masters)

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $163,820.80 - $221,644.80 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
