Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, Florida, is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to optimize inventory and procurement across hospital operations. The role collaborates with departments to meet business objectives and supports patient care through efficient supply chain practices.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, preparing reports for senior leadership, and enforcing safety and regulatory standards. Strong experience with SurgiNet/Cerner and Lean methodologies is preferred.

Qualifications

  • 1+ previous management experience
  • 3+ materials management or supply chain experience
  • Lean Process Improvement experience preferred
  • SurgiNet/Cerner experience preferred
  • CMRP certification preferred

Job Description

Collaborates with other departments to support overall business objectives and customer satisfaction. Other duties as assigned. Utilizes technology and software systems to streamline inventory and supply chain processes. Trains and supervises staff involved in inventory and supply chain operations. Prepares and presents reports on inventory and supply chain performance to senior management. Implements and enforces safety and regulatory compliance standards within the supply chain. Develops and implements inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and reduce costs. Oversees the procurement process, including vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management. Manages warehouse operations, ensuring efficient storage, handling, and distribution of goods. Coordinates with production and sales teams to forecast demand and plan inventory accordingly. Monitors inventory levels and conducts regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance. Analyzes supply chain data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. Develops and maintains relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and quality of goods.

  • Materials or supply chain management processes [Preferred]
