Job summary

Detroit Employment Solutions Corporation in Detroit is seeking a Supportive Services Analyst to manage the supply purchasing process for the Detroit at Work and DESC Programs system from approval through closeout. You will assign funding, coordinate procurement and delivery, maintain the SSR dashboard, monitor spending, and ensure documentation and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, public administration, finance, supply chain, data analytics, social services, or related field.
• At least three years of experience in supportive services, procurement, fiscal or grant administration, vendor management, or data analysis.
• Strong Excel and dashboard skills with detailed workflow management and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Review SSR requests for completeness and approvals before purchases.
• Assign funding sources and maintain records supporting eligibility and approvals.
• Coordinate procurement of supplies and services per purchasing/grant requirements.
• Manage workflow from request to closeout, including vendor assignment and delivery.
• Maintain SSR dashboard with funding, expenditures, balances, and compliance.
• Monitor spending against budgets and reconcile records across documents.
• Ensure required forms, approvals, invoices, and closeout documentation are complete.
• Identify delays and resolve issues involving participants, staff, and vendors.
• Establish vendor requirements and track performance for continued use or replacement.
• Prepare weekly/monthly reports on spending, compliance, and service delivery.
• Protect confidential information and support audits and records retention.
• Train and support system customers.
